Do I have to pay to play the game?
No, not a single penny, the game is completely FREE.

Can I create more than one team with the same email id?
You can create only One Team per tournament with the same email ID.

Can I link and see all my teams on a single log in?
Yes.

I did not get any confirmation email after I signed up?
There could be various reasons for your not receiving the Welcome mail including
a) it could have got stuck in Spam
b) you did not enter a correct email address.

Irrespective, please try to login with your Login ID and password. If you can login successfully, it would mean you have successfully registered.

Game

How do I go about selecting/ buying the 16 players for my Fantasy Team?
You can select any player for your Fantasy squad of 16 from an extensive list of players from all the participating teams. Select the team composition you want and select the names of the players from the list. The cost of each player is mentioned alongside and you are given initial credits to be able to buy a team . Remember - your expenditure cannot exceed the total credits you have in your kitty.

How do I select my Playing XI team?
Log into your account and go to the Manage My Fantasy Team link. Here you can select your playing Fantasy XI for every match from the list of your Fantasy 16. You should regularly check on your Playing Fantasy XI based on the upcoming matches. Our system uses a default system for the Playing XI wherein your current Playing XI is carried forward to upcoming matches till such time as you make changes, in which case your new Playing XI becomes your default till further changes are made again.

Can I replace a player in my fantasy team in case the player is not playing for reasons like injury or any other unforeseen circumstances?
You may replace a player in your playing XI for every match from amongst your 16 member squad as mentioned above but if you wish to replace any member from your 16 member squad - that will be called a transfer. When you return a player - his current price will be added to your remaining credits and these will then be used to buy a replacement. Transfers can take place only when a transfer window is open during any ongoing tournament. There is a penalty associated with each transfer - please refer to Current Tournament details in How To Play Section.

When I make changes in the team - how long does it take for the change to process?
The processing is instantaneous when you make changes for the Playing XI from among the chosen 16 - check the cut off time on the select 11 page - if you make changes after the match has begun, they come into effect for the next match.

Who or what is a sponsor?
To give your fantasy team a real feel you can choose a fantasy team sponsor - this is entirely your choice and it doesn't affect your scores - might not need this if we don't fix up a sponsor.

Is there a way to earn more credits - I need to have a particular player in my team but I am short of credits?
Yes, there is a way! If you invite more friends to IFC, you get some bonus credits for every referral - check the Invite A Friend section for details.

There are two simultaneous tournaments on IFC –how can I participate in both?
You can create different teams for both tournaments and participate in both. You can also do this with a single login.

Prizes

How will you inform me if I win a prize?
We will contact you at the email id you provided to us while registering. If you win, our team will get in touch with you with details of the prize. So make sure you use a valid email id and check it regularly for updates.

When will the prizes be distributed?
The prizes will be distributed at the end of the tournament.

Can a person win more than a prize?
Team Managers are eligible to win only one prize for the complete game. In case the winner of a prize is also adjudged the winner of another one, he/she will be awarded the prize of higher value, while the other prize will be awarded to the next eligible winner.

I have won a prize in one Phase of the game, am I eligible for the next Phase prizes also?
You can definitely compete in the next Phase as this is one whole competition but unfortunately the rules allow for one prize per team so if you win another prize, you will get only one prize but you'll surely get the one of higher value!

I am in another country, other than the country where the prizes are to be distributed; will I get my prize in my country?
No. IFL can distribute prizes only within India at the moment.

Are there any monetary prizes in your Fantasy Game?
No, there are no monetary prizes in this game.

What are the prizes for the current tournament?
The prizes for the current tournament are listed on the home page.

Late Registration

What is the last date for registration?
You can register even after the game and the matches have started. Just that the initial credit pool provided to you to select your fantasy squad of 16 will keep getting reduced for every innings that is missed in case of test matches and for every match day missed in case of ODI's. You will also be given an average bonus for the matches you have missed. ( For details please refer to Late Registration section in How To Play)

Scores

How do I score points?
To see how the points scoring system works please click on the How to Play link and refer to the Scoring Points section.

When will the scores be updated?
Scores will be updated regularly during the match /after short intervals / and after the tournament ends - so if your player has scored by getting a wicket or with a boundary - you'll see your point's updations and as a result change in your ranking.

I don't know much about cricket, can I still play?
Of course you can, it's just a game and all that matters is that you enjoy it! To help you there is an available section on the most popular players and actual player statistics to help you decide who you want to select for your squad.

I'm under 18, can I still enter?
Yes, the game is open to all. There are no costs involved and we will also never ask for any personal information from any of our users unless you are a winner of one of the prizes offered. If you/or your parents would like to contact one of the team before hand to verify please feel free to do so at support@cricket.indianfantasyleague.com

Can I compete with my friends / family / colleagues?
Yes - once you and your friends register and create your teams individually you can check each other's scores and see who ranks where.

Can I update my information?
Yes. Simply log in and select the 'Manage Personal Profile' link. Here you will be able to update your information such as name, e-mail address etc.

I want to change my team name or other details?
Once your team is registered, you can change the team details by clicking on the 'Manage My Fantasy Team' link.

How can I see where my fantasy team is in the rankings?
On your View My Team page the score and current ranking of your team is always displayed Alternatively, you can see the top 100 ranked teams..

I've forgotten my password, how do I get a new one?
If you have saved the email notification you received after you registered with us your username and password will be there. Else you can use the FORGOT Password facility to recover your password or username which will then be emailed to you.

I am sure I've got the right Username and password but I still can't log in.

Can I view other users' teams in the competition?
Sure! At any time, you can click on the teams in the Top 100 Ranked Teams to see how they have accumulated their points and pick up tips for your own team. Alternatively, you can also search for other users by their team names using the "Search" function.
