How do I go about selecting/ buying the players for my team?
You can select any player for your Indian Fantasy Golf Team from the Real life Players participating in the Tournaments. You need to select 10 players – i.e. 2 anchor players and 8 non anchor players.
Select your team from the available players list (during the course of the tournament, the players who are eliminated as they lose out become inactive in the list). Cost of each player is given alongside the names in the list of players – as you bring a player into your team, his cost automatically gets debited from your credit points. Remember, the game is played on a daily basis. So to score maximum points, make sure you select your team daily.
I am trying to select a particular player from the list but I am unable to add him to my squad.
The player you are trying to add might have been eliminated from the tournament – the eliminated players cannot be added.
Can I change my team everyday?
Yes, you can! As a team manager, you are allowed to change 6 of the 8 non anchor players everyday of the tournament. The Non anchor players can be changed after the end of one tournament and one hour before the start of the next one.
If you fail to change your team on any particular day, the team you selected last would be carried forward for the day/ tournament.
When I make changes in the team how long does it take for the change to process?
Your team is saved as soon as you click on Save Team button, however, you will not be able to make any changes to your team while a day’s play is on.
Can I replace a player in my fantasy team in case the player is not playing for reasons like injury or any other unforeseen circumstances?
Yes, you can! As a team manager, you are allowed transfers, as long as you do not exceed the total credits available to you and the number of transfers allowed in a particular tournament.
However, note that you can change anchor players only till one hour before the start of the tournament – the non anchor players can be changed one hour before the tee off on any day of the tournament.
When I return some players, what happens to the scores earned by outgoing players?
Scores earned by players you return will stay in your cumulative score.
When the new tournament starts what happens to the score that my team earned for the last tournament?
Scores earned by your team will stay in your cumulative score.
How much do I have to pay for making transfers?
You do not have to pay anything for making transfers.
What happens if I forget to update my team?
If you forget to update your team, the last team that you've saved will play for you.
I want to review my team's earlier performances.
To review how your team performed on any given Game Day, simply go to View My Team and select the date. You will get to see the players you had selected on that day as well as their performance.
How do I choose the best players for my team?
You can do that by going into the Player Statistics section. Simply select the date for which you would like to see a player's performance and you will get the scores they earned on Fantasy Golf. Also the top players will be listed on the Home Page of this site.
I really wish to include a particular player in my team but I cannot find his/ her name in the list?
If you can’t find a player, then that player is not available in our Fantasy Database.
Can I compete with my friends / family / colleagues?
Yes – you and your friends can view each other teams and scores. All you need do is get your friends/ family/ colleagues to register and create a team. IFG has a unique feature where you can create a Community that others can join. This way you, and all those who join your Community, can compete and keep track of each other.
I don't know much about Golf can I still play?
Of course you can, it's extremely simple and fun to play the game! Please refer to the Demo and How to Play sections to learn more!
GENERAL
Can I change my Team Name?
No, you will not be able to change your Team Name. However you can create as many teams you want.
Can I update my Team information?
You can update your team's slogan, description and image. However, you will not be able to change your team name.
Can I change my Username?
No, you will not be able to change your Username which is your email id. However you can create as many teams you want.
I am sure I've got the right Username and password but I still can't log in.
I've forgotten my password, how do I get a new one?
If you have saved the email notification you received after you registered with us your username and password will be there. Else you can use the Forgot Password facility to recover your password or username which will then be emailed to you.
Why has my ID been deactivated?
Your ID would have been deactivated if some objectionable/abusive content was found on it.
I'm under 18 can I still play?
Yes, the game is open to all. If you/your parents would like to contact us beforehand to verify anything, please feel free to do so at support@golf.indianfantasyleague.com
Where can I see my team's rank?
Once you login, you will see your team's rank and other details on the View My Team page.
Can I view other users’ teams in the competition?
Sure! At any time, you can view the Top 100 Teams (on the Home Page) to see how they have accumulated their points and pick up tips for your own team. Alternatively, you can search for teams using “Search” on the same page. You can also create a Community that your friends/ family/ colleagues can join to compete against each other.
How can I see where my fantasy team's rank?
You can see the top 100 teams through a link on the Home Page. Alternatively, on your View My Team Page, the score and current rank of your team is always displayed.

I am facing difficulty in opening the site. Please do something as I have to select my team for today’s game?

LATE REGISTRATIONS
What is the last date for registration?
You can register anytime during the tour. If you register after the start of a particular tournament, for every day that you missed, you will receive a Daily Average Bonus. The daily average bonus is the average of points accumulated by all the teams fielded. While if you register after a tournament has passed, you will be given a Tournament Average Bonus for every tournament you have missed.
PHASE/TOURNAMENTS
What will be the criteria to determine overall Tour winners?
The Manager who aggregates the maximum points from all tournaments on IFG will be declared overall Tour winner.
Will the winner of each Tournament be decided on the basis of points scored in that Tournament only or total points at the end of that Tournament?
Points scored in a particular tournament will be used to determine winners of that tournament. Points earned in one Tournament will get carried forward to your cumulative score to determine overall Tour winners, while.
PRIZES
How will you inform me if I win a prize?
We will contact you at the email id you provided to us while registering. If you win, our team will get in touch with you with details of the prize. So make sure you use a valid email id and check it regularly for updates.
When will the prizes be distributed?
The prizes will be distributed at the end of the tour.
Can a person win more than a prize?
Team Managers are eligible to win only one prize for the complete tour. In case the winner of a tournament is also adjudged the winner of another one, he/she will be awarded the prize of higher value, while the other prize will be awarded to the next eligible winner.
I have won a prize in one tournament of the game, am I eligible for the next tournament prizes also?
You can definitely compete in the next tournament as this is one whole competition but unfortunately the rules allow for one prize per team so if you win another prize, you will get only one prize but you'll surely get the bigger one of the two that you've won.
I am in another country, other than the country where the prizes are to be distributed; will I get my prize in my country?
No. IFG can deliver prizes only in India at the moment.
Are there any monetary prizes in your Fantasy Game?
No, there are no monetary prizes in this game.
REGISTRATION
Do I have to pay to play the game?
No, not a single penny, the game is completely FREE.
Can I create more than one team/account?
You can create as many teams as you like with a single ID, but each team name should be unique. You do not have to log in separately each time.
Can I create more than one team with the same email id?
You can create as many teams as you want with a single email id, however, you will have to create each team separately, and each team will have a different team name.
Can I link and see all my teams on a single log in?
No, you cannot link and/or see all your teams on a single log in.
In order to register a new team, can I do so with one single email account and password or do I need to have different email Ids and passwords for each new team I wish to register?
You can use the same email id to create multiple teams; however, each team must have a different Team Name - which will also be your login name.
I did not get any confirmation email after I signed up?
There could be various reasons for your not receiving the Welcome mail including a) it could have got stuck in Spam b) you did not enter a correct email address. Irrespective, please try to login with your Team Name and password. If you can login successfully, it would mean your team has been created.
SCORES
What is the scoring formula used?
The players you select will earn points for you based on the standard score calculating system developed for Indian Fantasy Golf. Please see the How to Play link on the home page for details.
When will the scores be updated?
Scores will be updated at end of each day within a short while from completion of the day's play.
The scores have not been added to my account from last day's match.
Scores are updated at the end of each Match Day. You will be able to see your scores updated the next day/within 24 hours.
I have a query regarding my scores. What do I do?

Do I need to register for every tournament on Indian Fantasy League?
No, once you have registered on Indian Fantasy League – IFT/IFC/IFG , you should use the same log-in and password to play all tournaments on IFL. Your scores from different tournaments will be added to your total points that you can then exchange for gifts at the IFL Shop.
